I am so grateful for whoever took the time to post this on KZbin. It has been an incredible blessing for me. He confirms many things I already believe but introduces literally volumes of new thoughts, ideas, and behaviors to spend serious quality time contemplating. God bless the one who posted and may He also richly bless John Lennox for such a well presented serious discussion of what God should mean to all of us. I am very grateful also that he follows his own advice and doesn't preach down to anyone. I know quite a few pastors and individuals that could benefit greatly from that lesson. I wish as a Christian of 39 years I could hear God speak to me when reading the bible but I never seem to get anything like most Christians can. I find daily devotionals (Daily Bread) and prayer much easier but I really struggle reading. I am not much of a reader anyway in general. This man however seems to go deep into it. He was talking about Abraham being ask to sacrifice his son and said I quote " let's no argue about which son ". Praying That the lost who find there way to this video who have failed until now to find the true peace that will only come from GODs Word will find their way to repentance & then to the manna of life which is HIS Word . for if we are of the world and seek worldly things then we can NOT understand just how amazing it is to be a child of GOD. The Pinnacle of Space and Time ...is that place, and at that fullness of times, where and when the King of Glory willingly submitted Himself on the hill of the face of death. And its lesser forebearer in the night which merely gives its light by reflecting the source. And He made the stars also., the ones He knows by name, shown to Abraham in heaven, and to be called Abraham's children. The children of God on the sea of glass....on that last day. Be not ignorant of THIS ONE THING! And it was evening and morning, the New Creation. When our Creator and maker shows His bride His mighty hand, which before her He creates the new heaven and new earth. Oh my soul! I cannot imagine! When on that day, the first millenial day after the Sabbath of Sabbaths.. I see many many posts all asking why does GOD allow suffering , , , My question is , how many , how often do people inquire of OR offer support for GOD , our creator , while HE suffers pains of watching HIS creatures, humans , rebel & revile against HIM ? From the beginning of Adam & Eve , not any number of generations after , but from the beginning humans have defied GOD"s commands && evil has ruled ever since , At the appointed time , according to GOD's promise , HIS own SON arrived on the scene to provide the acceptable sacrifice for our sins , which HE bore as HE suffered while being crucified , , , GOD , HIMSELF , suffered for our rebellion against HIM by becoming the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins , , , yet when/where are there any consolations towards GOD for HIS suffering ? GOD has suffered all through our generations for each of our lives which are born in the flesh of sin since Adam & Eve , , , GOD has declared HE does not want any should perish , & that HE HATES having to being in judgement against HIS creation , , , yet while HE suffers , all we do is cry out for the pains of our own deserved sufferings pleading for relief , pleading for forgiveness
