@Midnight Dreary a bit over the top millionaire ? I doubt that very much, if you put all his assets together house and so on, you might get somewhere near it, he's well off , and playing in a band can be very hard work, it's not a coal face , but it's grueling and stressful and difficult at times, few of us in our working life ,have to deal with trying to keep your mates off smack and so, but yes , I do agree with you , that in this interview clip nothing much was discussed , honest is cool, but truth is better and he doesn't always tell you what is true , just what he thinks is ...

A lot of rich people and celebs evade taxes, yes, but giving money to charities isn't the wisest way to 'evade taxation' as that money is still spent and there are still rules around how it is being claimed for deductions. It's not that simple. I fucking hate how complicated the tax systems are, frankly, but that's why we have accountants, I guess.
@xanderpromeo7 ай бұрын
It’s not always evasion it’s a charitable tax deduction. And every U.S. citizen is allowed to deduct for taxes. The rich just have more to do it with. 🤷🏽

To be fair to Phil Collins, he initially believed the idea of performing in both continents to be a bad one, but was told he wasn't the only one and that several other artists would be joining him. Given that, it would've been a big deal and raised further awareness of the cause. He found out too late that he was the only one doing it and was of course very angry about it.
