people don't realize how hard it is to play and sing this one at the same time. I literally find it easier to play and sing neon and edge of desire than belief, I just can't do belief

same here! neon is piss easy when you get it down! belief is the unspoken challenge!

Edge of desire is the hardest for me, for whatever reason, which is very interesting how we all have different struggles! I also don’t use a pick

@@grantjenkins7720 yeah it’s really hard indeed, I heard John used the riff as a guitar/finger-exercise but then actually made a song it of it. I think what makes it easier to sing over for me is that with edge of desire all the notes are the same length and on neon the right hand just keeps going like a train whereas on belief you really have to think about the timing and length of notes and pauses which makes it so hard to sing over even though the edge of desire riff is a lot more complicated
