Mayer has a beautiful style of playing, he is not like anyone else, the notes are thick and round but also move fluidly. Has great timing, precise and clean. ❤️🎶

This just feels like classic Dave Matthews Band music. I love it, honestly. This direction is something Mayer's needed for a very long time.

Not even close. DMB is so superior. Mayer needs to do his own thing.
@tw84543 жыл бұрын
ok thank you. i was heavily thinking this. heavy leroi vibes
@tw84543 жыл бұрын
@@loungefly92 1st of all this is the only song that even resembles anything Dave. Second Dave is one of his biggest influences, he wrote room for squares on a Dave Matthews signature Martin. 3 You need to listen to some more Dave Matthews if that doesn’t give you Leroi vibes along with that beautiful corky acoustic sound then you dont know much DMB. But back the his own thing comment??? you mean like when he came of with Sob Rock? or like joining Dead and Company to put a solo career on pause?? He more than does his own thing.

@@tw8454i don't understand it when people say "oh john mayer's copying other artists" as if sampling and creating your own style isn't original lol. a lot of his influence comes from DMB, srv, hendrix and a lot more where that came from. yet he seems to make cringy love songs that are more than just a cringe love song. it's a reflection of who he is, and not anyone else. so yeah i find it funny people say that about him lol

@FreaquedeMusique It's just a regular six-string guitar in a ukulele package. I don't know if it is tuned in any other fashion than your standard tuning, but it might be - hence the ukulele size.

@leonardoleal50924 жыл бұрын
Sean Raidley it is in tune, dude, listen to the album version, maybe John's chosen for a lazy tuning, something not exactly the 944Hz, but if that’s the case it is intentional
