@@osirismockingjay72 Dude I recently found out that my guitars weren't shitty. I had a horrible amp. After I got a tube amp? I sound like a professional. Get a tube amp not a digital amp amp. My stratocasters are my best friends now :)

@@AshwinPraveen aight. My current guitar is a yamaha acoustic it sounds just fine on my amp.. the amps i use are a medium sized fender amp it looks like a large frontman, and a large peavey I'll look out for a tube amp to use on my electrics then thanks bro

@@osirismockingjay72 Any Squier from the Affinity series and up gives a very nice Fenderish sound. The Classic Vibes or Vintage Modified are very capable instruments in the hands of good players, I would take one to a gig anytime (and I suck). Tone is in the fingers.

NickFlurry TheBlackgoat it's actually a jacket metal pin badge nailed to the headstock. Bought from an official store years ago (around season 10) can't remember where though. Search for South Park pin badge and you'll definitely find them available for purchase somewhere on the Web.

What is that partial chord that you do over the Amaj chord at 12fret D string and 11 fret G strings ?
@ConstantineJajas2 жыл бұрын
I also hit an open "e" so it's A6sus4 or Dadd9/A. I look at it as D/A or IV/I and don't care for the open "e" string. So I'd say it's a IV chord that adds some IV-I cadence movement to the vamp. Hope that helps. Had to re-watch to remember :D
@Steve-si8hx2 жыл бұрын
@@ConstantineJajas Thanks much for the reply. You are a great player and love your lessons. So how does one know when to use something like that ? I would never think to do that. Its fairly confusing to me.
@ConstantineJajas2 жыл бұрын
@@Steve-si8hx Thank you :) Well it's a big subject but three ways to go about it are 1. Think of chords like improvising on a pentatonic scale for example. Some notes you can't really explain why you go for them. You just do. Same with chords. You just play more notes at a time. If you stumble upon something you like, pause and try to make sense of what it is. 2. If you were given just the G C and D chords and were asked to jam on them. What would you play? When reaching a high point on that jam wouldn't you move more between chords at some point to create tension? Same thing here. Just as simple but sounds fancier. 3. Learn basic triads. Start with things you can visualize easily and once you have them memorized fool around by coming up with simple harmonized melodies.
@Steve-si8hx2 жыл бұрын
@@ConstantineJajas Ok that helps clear things up for me. Thank you. So it's basically just like doing doing two or three note Melodies over a chord.
@ConstantineJajas2 жыл бұрын
@@Steve-si8hx No problem. Yeah pretty much. When naming chords try to focus on the main cadence or chord progression instead of naming every micro movement because that can drive you crazy. If you examine (sheet) music on the vertical you'll almost always end up with one chord or another. Even fairly complex songs can be broken down to something more simple and easier to follow. Focusing on the Bass helps as well.

@MichaelYork6299 жыл бұрын
+BlackLlamaGuitar why did you change the bridge only? The neck pickup sounds wonderful, was there something weird with the bridge? I just played a wall of fender Telecasters and was not impressed, I picked up a squire classic vibe with f holes and was shocked. What kind of world are we living in?
@ConstantineJajas9 жыл бұрын
+Michael York Nothing wrong with the bridge pickup. I just do a lot of session work and lessons that require a more powerful/hum-cancelling pickup from time to time. The Classic Vibe guitars are proper instruments and priced just right. Especially the Telecasters. They used to be cheaper too!
