Damn, I love this version. When the music slows down at 4:10 and when John sings 'said I don`t want to hurt no one' , love it.. Let a man be lost..

Great song! Really like the this extended version. I'm really starting to like John Mayer a lot! I mean he even has an old dude (like me) playing electric guitar riffs.

In my humble opinion this is John Mayer's best song so far. That's saying something because there have been some good ones. Sounds even better with Taylor. Concentrate on your fantastic music John and stay out of the tabloids.

Why do they always tuck Sean Hurley (the bassist) away in the back next to the drums? He's nice to look at tooooo!!!!!! When he was in Vertical Horizon, he was more active and visible on stage. So talented too!

I kinda like the song and I do so with most of his work, but sometimes it's hard to believe that this is the same guy that blew my mind with his performance of "Out of my mind" on his "where the light is"-dvd.... Pity he doesn't exploit his potential to it's fullest, even though I like the poppy stuff aswell.

@fredagsedb i feel your point of view i dont think its a disgrace just something new that i feel that worked out for the better. alot of fans are mad cus he went away from a blues sounding record but i prefer his pop work it sounds better to me. but not denying his blues work is good aswell.

Well... I'm gonna be pick a blues feel over country almost any day, so i definetely belong to that group. And if i want some background soft, him and his guitar- popwork, then i put Jack Johnson or John Mayers early work on. I don't feel as if the world needs more of that, especially not from a guy that can do much more, but i obviously makes him and a lot of people happy, so i'm just gonna have to quench my musical thirst elsewhere. :)
@jonmui4015 жыл бұрын

I know about the audience. My point was just that I feel a song like this is a disgrace to John Mayers talent-level, both as a songwriter but especially as a musician. I'm disappointed. He is settlin' for to little if this is the kind of music he's going to make.
