They want the whole enchilada, and they have been quite consistent about that, ever since before 1948. Finally, a "realist" would know that so-called Greater Israel is a crock. Israel has given up land at every turn. It gave up Sinai when it signed a peace deal with Egypt. It unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in 2005, an unfortunate decision given Hamas'' takeover and subsequent unrelenting military hostility to Israel. Short version: Far from being a realist, Mearsheimer is a smirking fool.
