John C. Mellencamp I am so glad you are going strong. Amen and we need to pray for those selling out to evil these days in the industry. So glad you are safe and amongst good. God bless always and Soo glad to see your shows ×2 in the past. Praise be to Jesus and God.

John is one of those visionaries that sings about the real stuff ...his messages are very profound , John we rocked to your sounds on the Gold Coast Australia in our early twenties with hearts full of dreams ....and now 30 years later still feel the same about your music ....rock on John...songs of truth ...songs of honest living and the real fight we should be doing...against corruption on all levels... awesome John ...THANK YOU M8

Saw him in concert last night ( April 5th, 2016) in Davenport, Ia. It was amazing. This band is so talented it's unreal! I have seen him 3 times now, and was not disappointed last night either. High energy + new songs was a great combination! Plus, he brought his girlfriend, Christie Brinkley, out on the stage for a sweet dance with her. It was pretty cool!

Been a fan since 1980. Shared his first few albums with Northern Illinois and Southwestern Wisconsin, back in "the day". Only saw him live recently though. Starting in 2010 my wife and I have seen him about 6 times. Always a great time with great folks. Wish I'd seen the Human Wheels tour and Mr Happy Go Lucky tour live, most of all. Though did see them play "Circling Around The Moon" in 2010 and THAT was awesome. Didn't see that coming.

I really miss Larry, Toby and Kenny playing with John. Mike Wanchic has always been my favorite and even though he is still with John after 40 years, it seemed like he wasn't even there. He used to be lead guitarist and now he doesn't get solos or close ups, you just see him in the background. I know that he and John do a lot of studio stuff. I just wish I could see him more since he was an original member of his band. Also where the hell did Lisa Germano go?

this was just sad. its a slick, pro show for sure, but his voice is totally shot. all that smoking obviously. why still with the fake pompadour hair? and is he chewing gum or is that old guy denture chewing? he acts like he's too cool to be there and would rather be somewhere else. who can blame him, he's sung these songs hundreds, probably thousands of times, along with that cornball patter like, "aww I can feel them drumssss!" lol. toward the end, the low energy 'rocks a little' red faced straining on the old rockers was actually a little scary to watch. doesn't he have a bad ticker? careful john. anyway, its a good cause and he is definitely a longtime supporter, so thats something. it might be ok if he did his shows with all new material or something like dylan's triplicate and none of his old popular songs. something that craggy voice would work better with, it being new stuff, that would not detract from the old hits. that way you can keep your memories of 70s-80s cougar and he can leave the old material where it belongs on the shelf with the pet rocks and snap bracelets.

What a weird concert. It’s like all the band members were afraid to let loose, Mellencamp didn’t want to be there, the guitar, solos, and drum solos made no sense, and we’re just really reserved. I guess I’d have to say this concert was boring.
@ralphferguson110 ай бұрын
Too bad he’s such a nasty guy. He yells at his band. He yells horribly at the audience, he’s extraordinarily woke, he’s nothing like his music projects. Another bad guy like Dinero, Sean, Penn, and so many others. It’s freaking sad.
