This was a great video to watch. I literally just got a beginners fly-tying setup and this is just the inspiration I needed to get into it.

I'm going to have to tie a few of those up this summer! Thanks for sharing bro! Tight lines!

Nice pattern! I often fish flies right on the bottom so I like ones that ride hook-point up. Don't do carp but I will tie up a lighter version (bead-chain eyes with a spandex tail) for panfish. Thanks for posting!

Looks great, new sub. So at the end you showed another blood leach color, can u tell me what that collar was made of, it did not look like tail feather.

Hey Fly Dude, do you have a video on the gear you use to tie fly's?? Glue, vice, tools, etc??

Is it weird to have a favorite hook? the BC4 is it.

Really like how this looks, I think I may modify the tail with squirmy wormy, and use hen for the hackle. what do you think?

will dean I think that’s a great idea! Anything that gives you confidence in the fly, plus, I think that’ll slay!!

I see a lot of people using flies with dumbell eyes for carp, but everytime i try using a heavier fly for carp the splash just spooks them. Is there a special way to present these flies or something?
@TheFlyDudes4 жыл бұрын
typically when I am fishing this pattern, I'm literally dropping it right off my rod tip, so there isn't really any noise when it lands! most of the time, if you can present that way, that's the ideal presentation with a pattern like this!

@@TheFlyDudes ok thanks for the tips! I have been seeing a lot feeding shallow right at the bank lately so i guess ill try that out

The Short Fisherman good luck man! Just drop it on their nose if you can get close enough and they’ll eat it!!

Would it work for other fish to
@phoult375 жыл бұрын
Yeah for sure. I could see bass hitting that or even trout. Grizzly hackle is a money material that catches a large variety of fish.
