In an era where there’s so much manufactured ‘music’ it’s so great to see such mind blowing talent. Voice and acoustic guitar stripped back. Masterful songwriting. John has to be one of the best writer and performers today.

Today, 2-23-18, I heard John Moreland for the first time! The line ,”you don’t think enough of me to cry” almost made me cry. In about 1971-72 I got tickets to see John Prine. Not knowing what to expect I bought his album, was his first. “Hello In There “ has always been my favorite song , and John has always been my favorite artist. John Moreland made me feel like that again!

My favourite track of his “you don’t care enough for me to cry” there’s not many people in this world that can paint a picture so vivid with a song than John. A true gem you Americans have, all the way from Bangladesh we salute you.

This man's lyrics are so beautiful and full of emotion...I love his music. It reminds me a bit of Townes Van Zandt, but I think he's in a class of his own, Just beautiful, and heart breaking at the same time. I have another favourite in you, Mr. Moreland. You are the real deal. xo

I remember here in Tulsa and surrounding areas everyone thought he will never find his phoenix, there were a few of us that could see his talent and his seriousness to entertain and be real about it. Now he's becoming International!

I stumbled upon him on KZbin ~8 years ago and I was floored. Like my youtube was just "playing next" in the background and within 2 lines I stopped and was like "who the F is this guy?". He is really an incredible talent. Thanks for sharing him with the rest of us Tulsa!

@washcobootco8 жыл бұрын
+Bryan Stevenson thanks for watching! As for why you've never heard of him before, you gotta turn off the radio and tune in to underground music...hundreds of killer bands out there that are as good or better than most pop stars but they don't get airtime on the radio. John just started really blowing up this last year. It was cool seeing him on The Late Show!
