John Moreland has heard enough negative shots at his weight, let's just put out our best wishes that he gets healthy and keeps making great music. Even if he is only known by a few people his words can make a difference to more people than any of those who shame him. I hope the best for him and all those who support him. He is really a beautiful man, if you listen to what he sings, you will see it too, once you drop your judgement on his appearance.

Lyrics: Hang me in the Tulsa County stars Hang me in the Tulsa County stars Meet me where I land if I slip and fall too far Hang me in the Tulsa County stars I don't want to come back down to earth No, I don't want to come back down to earth My heart is growing heavy from the ever-endless hurt So I don't want to come back down to earth And babe, I know this life will make you cold and leave you mad Make you homesick for a home you never had Burning out the good with all the bad So darling let the charmers leave the room They're drowning out the Nashville moon I want to learn exactly who you are Then hang me in the Tulsa County stars Find me in the Indian Nation sky You can find me in the Indian Nation sky When it feels like nothing's real and no one's standing on your side Just find me in the Indian Nation sky I'd set ablaze the secrets I'd concealed I'd set ablaze the secrets we conceal If I could make you feel the way you make me feel I'd set ablaze the secrets we conceal And babe, I know this world will have the wolves outside your door Make you leave all that you love to fight a war And never tell you what you're dying for So, darling, let the charmers leave the room Let them have that Nashville moon I want to know exactly who you are Then hang me in the Tulsa County stars Just hang me in the Tulsa County stars

First time hearing Mr. Moreland tonight/this morning Saturday 15th of September 2018. I must say, 1. Don't know how I've never heard of him. 2. I admit, I judged him on his appearance. 3. I only clicked on a video because of his appearance. 4. I'm glad I clicked on his video 5. I think he is absolutely amazing. 6. He brought a tear to my eye. 8. I'm humbled yet again. Preconceptions can kiss my ass. 9. Where have you been all my life John?

There's different types of music because everyone has a different taste. It's up to you to listen to what you want but let's face it, if this was all over the radio, and TV, it would depress people.

hellbilly1373 Real people like me and you yes, unfortunately we have to go out of our way to listen to the good stuff, because the truth remains that it's not the music that today's world wants. It's all about dropping the beat and music you can dance to. I understand why this isn't in the charts, it's because it would be laughable and I'm the biggest "real music" lover there is

I came upon this song one night when I couldn’t sleep. Replaying the last three years of a living nightmare that I have lived. Your voice is my go to. Your voice and your songs help bring me back from despair. My son died three years ago and I found him. I am no longer the same person. I died the minute my son did.....my son had so many secrets that he kept from us but he found his strength and his voice in the minutes before his death. My brother stole something from him at the age of five and when confronted by my sons words in a letter I found after his death. I watched as my parents and sister turned their backs. I heard I can’t believe your doing this.... I just walked away. They told me there was no such things as monsters they lied to me as a child cause there are monsters. They are my family. My family that I thought would do the right thing. They are the real monsters. They are hiding right beneath our noses. I refuse to stay silenced about my son truths. I will fight for justice for my son just the same if he were still alive as I am in his death.
