I didn't know much about this man until after his death. He was a remarkable human being, a great philosopher and a great Irishman.

I can still see John on the bus making his way to the U of M to enlighten us poor ignorant students .We were all so very young then, idealistic. He touched so many people in a way that is not forgotten in our lfietime. Carry on John he would often say to me. Now it is my turn to say Carry On John, carry on.....

6:56 'there's nothing in the wide [indisntinct] world wrong with that knee except that the power has [indistinct] and gone from it' -- Anyone know what he said there? Thank you!

There's nothing in the wide "epity" World wrong with that knee except the power is "clean" gone from it, not 100 percent on the first word in question but a lot of people used made up words where a curse might have been said in reality the second word is clean used by many Irish as another way of saying all the power is gone out of it

"The power is Clean gone from it. " Clean as in Completely.
