A short section of the Scottish West to East coast John Muir Trail - this was from Kirkintilloch to Twechar instead of our planned Bonny Bridge stopping point. A medical emergency resulted in an 'early bath'.
Primarily it is along the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal - easy walking with abundant wildlife. This video gives a good overview of this section.
The walk resulted in a 'rapid response' to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital A&E, Govan, Glasgow by the stalwart driving of Jim Mann with an intervention and treatment in the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank. My deepest gratitude to all - I live to tell of the adventurous journey.
