വാൾ എടുത്തവൻ വാളാൽ എന്ന് നമ്മുടെ നാടൻ ഭാഷയിൽ ഒരു ചൊല്ല് ഉണ്ട്. ഇതിലും മോശമായിട്ടാണ് നമ്മുടെ മുൻ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി അന്തരിച്ച ശ്രീ. കെ കരുണാകരനെ ISRO ചാരവൃത്തി കേസിൽ ഗൂഢാലോചന ആരോപിച്ച് ക്രൂശിച്ചത്. അന്ന് ഈ ആരോപണം കേരളത്തിൽ ലീഡർ ശ്രീ കെ കരുണാകരനെ അധികാരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് താഴെയിറക്കുവാനും രാഷ്ട്രീയ നേതൃമാറ്റം ഉണ്ടാക്കി ശ്രീ എ കെ ആന്റണിയെ കേരളത്തിൽ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയാക്കുവാനും ഏറ്റവും മുന്നിൽ നിന്നത് ശ്രീ. ഉമ്മൻചാണ്ടി തന്നെയാണ്. അതേ ഉമ്മൻചാണ്ടിക്ക് അതേ നാണയത്തിൽ തന്നെ തീച്ചയായും തിരിച്ചടി കിട്ടി എന്ന് വേണം കരുതുവാൻ. പൊട്ടനെ ചെട്ടി ചതിച്ചാൽ, ചെട്ടിയെ ദൈവം ചതിക്കും എന്ന നാടൻ ചൊല്ല് എത്ര അന്വർദ്ധമാണ്. കാലം കരുതിവച്ച തിരിച്ചടി. ശ്രീ. ഉമ്മൻചാണ്ടിക്ക് ഉണ്ടായ ഈ ദുര്യോഗവും മനോവിഷമവും അദ്ദേഹം തീർച്ചയായും അർഹിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

These reporters are not considering the entire sequence of events, cherry-picking moments that suit their narrative. Both Karunakaran and Oommen Chandy have made significant contributions to the state, and they are probably among the best CMs Kerala has seen, known for their quick actions and results-oriented governance. So, if both were equally good, then I would look at it from another angle rather than the narrow perspective presented by these reporters. It’s important to remember that what you sow, you will reap. The ISRO case escalated to a blazing scale, ruining many innocent lives, including those associated with the Karunakaran ministry. The bottom line is, you reap what you sow. Recently, the CBI revealed that the entire case was fabricated, identifying many police officers as culprits. The ISRO case was used as a stage to dethrone the Karunakaran ministry, and in the process, many people's lives were thrown into harsh situations. It's not the opposition that caused his political and mental downfall, but his own actions that backfired. Destiny hit back with a vengeance, doubling the interest and capital of his misdeeds. The ISRO case was the stage for dethroning Karunakaran, and the solar scam was the stage for his own downfall. The same fate befell him from within his own party. It was especially painful because it came from his own party members.

It's not the opposition that defeated him politically, and mentally, it was his own party members. Even now, those people remain in the legislature as members without playing significant roles.
