I need to take moment and shout out Jason... I am the biggest fan of Sam and Full Frontal was an exceptional moment in time -- there was a week when Jason was in Russia for the Sochi Olympics and took the time to shout out the LGBT community in the bravest, most self-effacing way. I use it as an example of incredibly incisive reporting to this day. So - thank you all in the Bee/Jones -- and thanks Joanna, this is a delight!

Possibly, but I think she's better in this anyway. When the primary focus is intelligent discussion she's more relaxed and less forced, and the jokes happen anyway because she's got a great sense of humour. She deserves more airtime, though. This podcast could be a panel-like discussion on HBO, and I'd take Sam over smug asshole Bill Maher any day of the week.

My husband sceduled our yearly vacation for 11/4, that way I'm out of the country for the inevitable initial shit show that maga is going to turn the counting into and the breathless coverage & both sidings of corporate media. Hurray for mail in voting, living in a gold standard state is kind of awesome and ultra convenient.

My ballot is ready and waiting for the postman. I am beyond worried about this election. My husband and I are moving to North Carolina, away from family and friends. It’s such a good move for us financially so I really hope the country doesn’t fall into madness. But if we prevail and there is the blue tsunami I believe is coming and the other side miraculously doesn’t throw tantrums, life will be so good. Almost too good to hope for. But all that would be immaterial without HRT. I’d be locked up in a padded room if I still had the hot flashes and overwhelming anxiety due to perimenopause. Yikes.

Speaking as a customer service rep who needs a job, after listening to your first ad read on this podcast I guarantee the way to make customer service interactions "more human" is to just freaking HIRE _more humans._ CSRs like me provide valuable service and true empathy, which makes us work even harder to solve solutions for you. It drives me insane that I can only talk to machines now and it takes 3-4 days longer to get my issues solved than if I could _just_ speak to a person who understands my issues right away instead of having to wait for an email that "summarizes" my need and asks me to reply back via email. Seriously, get back to hiring more people. You'll have happier customers and you'll improve the economy by putting experienced reps like me back to work.

BLESS you for bringing up the frustration at having to deal with phone treed robo rep and then the time delay for confirmation emails etc. when all I really need is a reasonably good phone connection (I live in a rural area) a reasonably competent person to get my issue resolved in a timely manner.
