I would like to thank WNEP16, the people of Scranton and Last Week Tonight for making this such a thing. Never in my life have I been so emotionally attached to a train. This has been a great journey. Excellent work on just going with it, not backing down, and being willing to be part of a joke that brought everybody enjoyment at nobody's cost!

This is a nice nod to the town of Scranton. What started out as a joke turned out to be a meaningful gesture to the people of the city. Looks like a future weekend is going to be filled up going to Scranton to see this monstrosity. Thanks for uploading this man. This brightened my Monday.

Holy crap... they really really liked the train. At first i thought eh its just an elaborate prank, but turns out the model has everything that represents the town and the people think of it as something represents the town. Knowing this WNEP actually put in money and people and effort to carry the thing all the way to where it needed to be. I never thought something John Oliver does as a joke would mean something real to a town. The mayor had to jump at the thing so other people wouldn't take it, the station sent out its own people to travel to another state just to get the thing, someone from the town offered his own truck to hoist it all the way there, and the whole team of news people accompanied it all the way back. i'm also really delighted at how genuinely happy everyone there are with the thing, and how they actually put in genuine effort to get everything in place.

This was a beautiful model train set up . I think any rail-way museum would be proud and lucky to have it. Enjoyed the video of this fun event .
