I blame Kirk for this. It wasn't until he came around in the what, mid 90's that peeps started talking through the WHOLE song! Now everybody and their mom wanna do it. Actually I blame more so the label he was signed to at the beginning (gospocentric records exec who said he was fine the way he was). Now look... It's like someone said here... Now the director can barely sing AND talks throughout the whole song.... I hate that and will never get used to it. 😡

But again, I reeeeally wish Choirs would go back to the way they were. They don't always gotta be talkin and stuff! Even Hezekiah be talkin most of the time now :/ And choirs should sound like *choirs* not praise teams! I recommend peeps like Dexter Walker and Zion Movement though.

I knew John when I was little girl traveling with my Grandmother group The Gospel Lites of Charlotte. Well that was a very long time ago but EVERYONE has been through some things IN THEIR LIVES.
