Also I feel sorry for all 3 of them John Paul being an alcoholic because of having an abusive relationship with George, Matthew-Jesus having an alcoholic Father and Oliver for losing a Father from FTD even though he died from falling off a cliff. 😭💔

Ollie’s an recovered addict and also has a father who was too an addict so I don’t think there’s a better person to check John Paul on his addiction and what it’s causing his son than Ollie. Just hope they don’t drag this storyline out much longer and get JP the help he needs soon…

I love this version of Ollie, I was a bit unsure about about Ollie being recast at first but he's been brilliant in recent scenes and has developed into one of my favourite characters

Ollie literally had as a dad and is a literal addict himself so he knows the signs when he sees them especially if they're an alcoholic. JP needs a wake up call and it will probably be his son hating his guts.

It really is quite strange how nasty James is to John Paul when a year or so ago, he claimed to still be in love with him. It's like the new writers forgot all about their history. Not to metion how strange it is that Ste or Nancy have had zero scenes with JP since this storyline started. Considering Nancy is his best frientd and Ste has said many times in the past how JP saved him when he was an addict, It;s like they don't know the history of the characters. However have to say, love the idea of Ollie here. Hope this continues for both Matthew and JP.

Lori Baehre OA I agree but I think for once that having Oliver step in for John Paul for once I think is a great thing in a way of helping someone. Considering his Father Luke also used to be an alcoholic and Oliver used to be addicted to drugs. I hope we’ll get more screen time with John Paul, Matthew-Jesus and Oliver especially more scenes with Romeo and Sally! What do you think???? 🤔

Good on Ollie, he went through hell with his dad being an alcoholic and then suffering himself with drug addiction. I really hope he manages to break through to John Paul.

Olive fly OA me too I know how it feels to have a relative (well In-Law relative that is) who was an alcoholic and he was a cop but he got suspended and he nearly died from the alcohol as well but after a few Months later he got help into rehab and he got back to being an officer and now he’s the commissioner en Mexico “in Mexico”. Only he hablas y (speaks and) understand Espanol (Spanish) pero no Ingles (but not English) which I understand that with Abuela, Abuelita y Abuelo (Grandma, Grandmother and Grandpa). ☺️

Sammy28 mcintyre OA my 1 Year and 1/2 full blood related little Sister Macey was put in rehab by Gram and Gramps which is why Mercedes tries to look for a rehab center for John Paul next Week but they keep on rejecting her.

Oh my OA John Paul needs to wake up and smell the fresh brewed caramel Frappuccino’s and get help! OA Oliver’s right if John Paul doesn’t get help or anything soon social services might take his Son Matthew-Jesus away. OA plus what Oliver was talking about to John Paul was I think probably about Buster when he sexually assaulted him (and Brody, Imran and the other Males when they were Teenagers) I’m really glad to see that Oliver got to spend a bit of time with Matthew-Jesus that was so amazing even though he’s not Oliver’s Son but Thierry is. OA also according to spoilers Sally takes action over John Paul. OA I wonder what they are. What does she have in mind? OA I hope she’ll get him help. A shocking decision from the McQueens keeps John Paul away from Matthew-Jesus and he drowns his sorrows in alcohol. OA oh come on John Paul! As Sally tries to help John Paul back home, he lashes out, resulting in a painful consequence. OA I wonder what the consequences are. Later, Mercedes tries to reach out to rehab centres on behalf of her brother, but she's met with rejection after rejection. OA I always knew Mercedes had a good caring heart not just for her Son Bobby but also for her little Brother John Paul. Desperate, Sally takes drastic action, but will it backfire? Since when in the name of The OA have things ever not backfired in Salem or the village? There's a terrifying discovery for Sally that results in John Paul being rushed to hospital. OA what has John Paul done now? Bitter about the damage Sally has done, John Paul makes a brutal decision. OA I hope he’ll realize he needs help. John Paul receives another wake-up call. Oh thank OA for that. Will this be a turning point? OA I hope so. A comic written by Matthew-Jesus brings John Paul to tears. OA wow I’m really surprised for Matthew-Jesus. Later, he gets roped into playing a superhero game, but things take a turn for the worse when he discovers that the villain in his son's narrative is based on him. OA oh I just hope this will help John Paul realize that he’s a mess and needs help! OA I actually loved that scene between John Paul and Oliver including Matthew-Jesus I think there should be more screen time between them including Oliver and Ste. OA I also hope there’ll be more screen time with Brooke and Mercedes. It’s been about like what a Year or two since that happened between them and Mercedes but I also hope to see more screen time with Cindy “Lou 🥰” and Mercedes. What do you guys think???? 🤔
