It's so jarring to watch. Obs, I'm happy to have shows back but it's strange to see. American shows are back to "normal" maybe it's cause they have way more test available to them.

@@trcolavi If you are talking about the primetime shows they are back to normal somewhat. Actors on CW shows have stated that scenes that require two actors kissing they have to use mouthwash before and after every kiss. Also all the CW shows and about half of our scripted primetime shows are filmed in Canada (because its cheaper) but it also has had a 2nd blessing during the COVID era since Canada has managed the pandemic better than the United States. If you are referring to the American soaps they are still following similar standards like the UK is. They are tested multiple times per week and the actor's IRL partner fills in for kissing scenes. Like how Hollyoaks have been using Anna Passey (Sienna)'s IRL BF Kyle Pryor as a stand-in for Warren when he and Sienna kiss. The Young and the Restless has two actors in a relationship (Bryton James & Brytni Sarpy) and they also play an on-screen couple on the show. So those two can film scenes like normal. A lot of the shows (soaps and scripted prime time) are making heavy use of green screen in order to make people appear closer than they really are. At least the British soap operas didn't try and use mannequins as stand-ins like The Bold and the Beautiful did when it started filming after its shutdown. They quickly fired the mannequins after it went viral here.

@@sato8875 thanks for the detailed info on shows... it’s cool that shows have used IRL partners to pose as stand ins on kisses. Very inventive. I did hear about the CW people needing to gargle mouth wash before kissing scenes though I read there is no proof listerine kills the virus in saliva.

Wait whyyy?? I’m soo confused why George did that. Can someone explain please? I thought they had patched things up when he and John Paul went to confront Dean. When George told him they were done and he had to deal with it. So why’d George do that at the end? I saw people saying George was paying John Paul back for what he did. He mentioned his childhood right before he died. He said he begged for a dog and was given one, so it sounds like he was spoiled. However, when it arrived it was more loyal to his brother, so he physically abused it. That sounds like a narcissist!

Well... the sin of Pride was paid by George so that bit is his money rofl. IIRC they borrowed money from James & Felix and stole Kyle's watch from Nancy. Only a small portion was McQueen money which was the cash they saved to buy Christmas presents that JP used as a down payment towards the sin of Greed.
