The tune is known as "Austria" and is set to the lyrics of "Glorious Things of Thee are Spoken", a famous hymm in the Anglican Hymm Book.

I'm half British and half German and I actually started laughing like hell when I heard the German National Anthem here. But I immediately remembered that up to 1918 both nations shared the same anthem, albeit with different lyrics 😉.

The tune is actually the Emperor's Hymn from Joseph Haydn's String Quartet no 76. It had been written in 1797 as the Austrian Emperor's personal anthem, which was later adopted as the German national anthem. Haydn also included it in his String Quartet that we hear in this scene.
