The legendary performance from John Prine in 1978. RIP to the greatest songwriter in this world and the next. If anyone has more information about this concert please let me know!

Funny him talking about how this song is often called “Mr and Mrs Hyde”- “...but by the time this airs it’ll probably be called “There She Goes.” Reminds me of how Bruised Orange was originally (or sometimes?) called Chain of Sorrow. Guess John realized the important part was the song, not just the title. For his fans a lot of the important parts were also in the stories he’d tell about the songs. Boy, did he make the world a better place.

I don't want to sound mean and nasty to all the very fine players on stage for this song with john but John had the rare magic to be able to do this all on his own with his guitar, that was the power of this man, it would have been just as good with only John stood on stage telling his story songs about real like

I was fortunate to see him in concert and even after his health issues and surgery , it was absolutely one of the Best live shows I have ever been to !! He was a vocal Artist with amazing musical talent in voice and Guitar, if you have never heard his brother sing , it is incredible how much he sounds like John ,
