Across all of my posts, I have observed a high demand from many of my followers and viewers that Casimero is the man to cause big problems for the pound-for-pound star Naoya Inoue.
In today's installment, we will look at one of John Riel Casimero's (PHILIPPINES) latest performances against Fillipus Nghitumbwa (Namibia) and see whether or not those claims possess any merit.

@@jomariejoms4631 Casimero didn't accept the fight money reduction, ducked Inoue and escaped to weak Micah. Casimero didn't even fight Donaire and Butler, and has fought weak boxers only but lost already 4 times. Furthermore he showed poor performance against weak boxers, proved he is weak and the world has lost interest in the weak boxer Casimero. As a proof Casimero is not rated as you saw. Casimero is dangerous for him because of his defense, punching power, endurance, durable body frame, granite chin, experience and ring IQ. Casimero needs only stamina which is easy to attain via cardio workout. If you can see the style of casimero, he is leaning backwards meaning its hard for you to land a punch. He master his craft long before he started his illustrious career. Even though he is not condition at fight night he is still hard to beat.

Hindi na nagiimprove si Casimero. Dapat peak na niyan ngayon eh kaso mukang nalilihis na ng landas. Hindi consistent. Umaasa lang sa power punch niya pero hindi nadadagdagan ang skills. Kung ganyan lang ang ipapakita niya kay Inoue. Eh magfocus na lang siya sa pagba-vlog niya.

Just my opinion but a lot of Casimero's "body" punches were low blows and then Nghitumbwa gets a point deducted for a rabbit punch that wasn't one.

My suggestion to the coach of Casimero: You must study the fighting style and strength of Inoue to win. Casimero has to increase his speed and resistance. He has to practice a lightning punch rather than giving his left hand to the opponent.

Coach, with the winner of Inoue-Tapales having been put on official notice to defend against Nery, with even Nery's and Inoue's people targetting the fight sometime in May, at the MGM Grand, Vegas no less; and seeing as villainous Nery 👺, with all HIS baggage of controversy, is coming off a good win against a credible opponent in Azat Hovhannisyan, I'd like to suggest you turn your attention, along with/after the Inoue-Tapale fight, to Inoue-Nery, coming back to Casimero should HE similarly come back with a good win against a credible opponent. That Nery-Hovhannisyan fight was so good that I reckon Nery does merit the Inoue fight, despite many Japanese fans saying Inoue shouldn't give him that payday (also paycut for Inoue) 😂. Casimero needs only stamina which is easy to attain via cardio workout. If you can see the style of casimero, he is leaning backwards meaning its hard for you to land a punch. He master his craft long before he started his illustrious career. Even though he is not condition at fight night he is still hard to beat.

This was a boring fight except for the couple of good shots Casimero landed (including the knockdown). At this rate, Inoue will cook Casimero. At almost 37 years of age, Donaire gave Inoue the best fight of his life. At 34, Casimero still has power in his punches, but he looked sluggish and is nowhere close to Donaire at 37. Casimero isn't even at Fulton's level. Inoue's hand speed, power, precision, and quickness will humiliate Casimero. I don't see a fight with Casimero going the distance. Even if it does, Casimero will be stopped just like Donaire. Given the trajectory both fighters are going, Casimero does not even deserve a fight with Inoue. Casimero is just talking smack and trying to irritate Inoue so that Inoue would give him a fight. I don't think "the Monster" is even interested. 😬

If Naoya beats Tapales, the sanctioning bodies have decided that he'll have to defend (under the auspices of the WBC) against Nery next. Nery's and Inoue's people have apparently provisionally agreed for the fight to happen in May at the MGM Grand, Vegas. Inoue's manager-cum-promoter, Ohashi, has previously said that if Casimero wants a shot at Inoue after his last sub-par performance against Oguni (who hadn't fought in SIX YEARS 😂) he needs to comeback with a solid, convincing performance. He also needs a credible win to silence critics (including Casimero fanboys) already saying he's a sub-prime Casimero now at 35. I agree.. Casimero don't get that convincing win, surely no way Inoue will bother making the effort to fight him.. So the ball's in Casimero and his people's court now. He really needs to beat a well ranked, name/ contender, someone of the calibre of a TJ Doheny/Wonderboy, or possibly even Jonas Sultan (who beat Casimero at 118 and is coming off a good debut win at 22). Anyhow, there's definitely a good, credible fight to be made for him before May, to put himself in line for the big Inoue retirement payday. Up to him, innit? His chances will improve a little if he defeats Doheny overwhelmingly, but nearly no change even in the case. Casimero cannot beat Doheny in the first place. After the knockdown...how many times Nghitumbwa was wobbling after receiving heavy blows...ref tapdasan should stop it earlier when he saw it. Casimero was tired after throwing all that heavy punches... waiting for the call... opponent instead get time to regain.
