Very nice flow! The drums sound great. We have similar tastes in cymbals as well. Will have to keep my eye on your channel. Good stuff!

This is a Max thing. I got it at Berklee also. Every paradiddle stroke(s) alternating snare to tom. You’re doing it slightly different. Learned it right hand only between snare and floor. Left hand only snare and high tom. It’s not easy. Took some time to get brain accustomed to hearing it that way without messing up the rudiment

This is how John showed it to me, I did not get the origin, I can ask. I have seen a similar Max version as well with a different orchestration, but similar. I will find that one.

@@mykemynah2552 John has some other ones I will post soon based on 5 note and 7 note sticking, I am still working on the 7. If you are familiar with Gary Chaffee’s sticking they are 5A and 7A orchestrated the same way.

Greetings. What hi-hat and ride cymbal do you use? Great sound.

May I ask what John Riley book this orchestration comes from?

I am not sure if that is in any of his books, it was given to me in a lesson. I will find out.

@@c.h.gamble2279 it is essentially right hand moves between snare, FT, and HT (in that order), Left hand moves only between snare, and HT.

@@michaelnesi0827 I'll try that and watch you at a slower speed..I should be able to get it. It is based on the single paradiddle? Anyway..thanks again for sharing. ✌️
