Jack Tripper was my influence to cook. And his struggles to open his own restaurant left an impact.

of all the celebrities who have passed in my 35 years of life, John Ritter is the only one I felt anything for. Sad to see anyone pass of course. But John was something else. Threes Company is the only show ever that my entire family would sit and watch together. laughing and happy the whole time.

I actually teared up when I heard he died. Who knew I felt so strongly about Jack Tripper?

I just finished watched the final season of Three's Company, and I teared up watching them all leave that apartment. I feel like I watched that show with the delusion that as long as there was another episode, John Ritter was still alive, and when you watch them leave the apartment for the last time and turn out the lights, it's heartbreaking.

I did too. I remember exactly where I was when I learned he had died. I was sitting on a bus in dyker heights brooklyn in my way to work in staten island when I saw the front page of someone's daily news. He is the one person I wanted to meet.

John was my greatest hero during my tenure at eastern Michigan university. Great guy and superb comedian I have ever come a crossed. He was simply great guy. My hero for the life time. I learnt a lot from him. May god bless him.

Now a painting of him is on the mural of the Hollywood High School. I think he would love it. - The point he said to John that the daughter called him old and fat really wasn't nice. In my opinion John was neither old nor fat. He looked like other men at his age but not bad. And his smile was very attractive. Love it.

The old and fat comment was really unnecessary but Jimmy did try to redeem himself. I think John Ritter played it off really well but something like that hurts people's feelings I don't care who you are. On the bright side John Ritter is an extremely loved and missed man and that's more than most people could ever say
@Selena_H.3 ай бұрын
Yeah, anecdote like that (what Jimmy’s kid said) would have been uncomfortable shared off-the-air, let alone during the broadcast. John had a witty come-back saying it sounds like something a reporter would say; now that’s funny 😃.

John Ritter and Ronnie James Dio: those are the two celebrity deaths that hurt me the most. Famous people die all the time but somehow those two really struck a chord with me and saddened me.

As someone who has had a massive heart attack and nearly died myself, i can completely recognized the signs in John in this interview. Just how he looks, sounds etc.. it's exactly how i was in the months leading up to mine. He must not have been seeing doctors very regularly at the time or they would have surely seen it as well. An eco-cardiogram would have caught it.

I watched all the episodes over and over again and the series finale was great and so sad, and touching. I have to say that three's a crowd was a big mistake and they could have kept janet on the show as apparently she wanted to be jack's love interest, but because the british version of the script wasn't similar to the American version, they declined that suggestion but joyce dewitt struggled with that decision. I didn't ever like Vicki and her character. I wish that Mr Furley, Larry, and janet and terry had done a few more seasons.

I always thought he either tried to hard or was guarded when he was on Live TV, like his comic timing was off for the live crowd. Either way a great Taelnt. RIP John Ritter...

Nice clip except for all blank video in the middle. The story that Jimmy told about his daughter calling John Ritter "fat" would have been better left unsaid. No one wants to hear that. John obviously didn't think it very funny.
