In this video I start assembling the bottom end of John's, World Products Man-O-War engine block.
For the spec mongers out there it is a 9.2" deck height block that is the same as a 351 Cleveland. The crank is a 4340 Eagle with a 4" stroke. The rods are 6.00" Eagle H-Beam units. The bore is 4.020" which puts it at 406 cubic inches.
The pistons are from Ross Racing and they have a -31cc dish. Compression ratio with the heads should put it at around 9.5:1. Only one head has showed up in the mail so far. When it arrives we will put out the second video dedicated to this build.
There are not many other KZbinrs showing you a build of this caliber. These parts are usually only used by the top racers in the world and they pretty much pay race shops to build their engines. Not much filming gets done nor do people talk much about parts like this engine will be using.
Stick around for this one. We hope to make it entertaining enough to make it worth your while.
