As far as i remember from VN and manga, this style not that strong as others. It is actually hard for Cid to fight in such amplua.

Details in the novel: Cid would took a shower and sprayed perfume before transforming into John Smith, and the suit he dress was given by Yukime. But Delta still find him out😂

Thanks to Beta’s mission in the Lawless City, Shadow Garden now has access to vampire powers! It didn’t show at the end of that arc, but she was able to get a vial of Progenitor vampire blood.

One detail about this episode that I love is that it gives so much context to the opening. When Alpha and Shadow are fighting, Alpha cries that she wants to follow Shadow and understand him, but no matter what she does he seems too far away. In the opening there is a lyric that says "No one can catch up to me anymore" ("dare ni mo omoitsuke nai", may have butchered the translation). Never paid much attention to the line before, but after this episode it just started hitting different

14:42 The anime robbed Yukime. Getten did not slice her back. He sliced her and then stood over her, cutting her again and again and again. Her back, that she shows John Smith, is covered in scars. I don't like that they leave her pain out of the show.

11:30 Yeah, the stuff left out means that Alpha's use of what they learned from vampire blood and Blood Queen Elisabeth is not said. 16:13 Yukime has MOTIVATION. Wealth is just a tool to get what she wants. Knowing WHY she acts is powerful. It always irks my stomach to think of her selling herself to soldiers for year and years.

11:52 The fight with Alpha was in a street, and was way more badass. She manages to cut him once, he judo chops her on the neck with the handle of his sword to knock her out. I will admit, the train was a groovy fight location. Just wish they had shown the whole fight.
