You went there, so that WE don't have to. You are giant amongst men!

All those on your list is enough to make you teetotal. In fact I was in a pub for a reunion and they only had John Smiths so I just had an orange juice, it was a long fucin night. The trouble is that most pubs are owned by big business who don't give a shit so most pub goers haven't even had a decent brew.

Listening to you rattle off the Top 10 beers in the UK brought a tear to my eye, I mean WTF. Where’s the incentive to brew decent beer in this country, when you get sales like that! 🤬

I love your videos so honest and good and funny. Just having a pint of budvar. Love this lager.

Quality has gone down a lot lately though, at least in bottles. Very strange sweet caramel tasting stuff now.

@@jamesedgewood4643 I refuse to buy the bottle version because of the green glass. I buy the cans only. So try the cans is my advice.

I know why it's the best selling ale in the UK - cause it's all old geezers that drink it and spend all day drinking in a pub. I hate it for obvious reasons like most self respecting beer drinkers do. Another awful one that sells loads especially in wetherspoon where I worked is Bud Light. I tried everything on tap and in bottles purely for work research reasons and the only ones I even enjoyed was Heineken on the draught and only Tyskie in the bottles.

Of course work research. That's my excuse too

I'm an " old geezer "and I don't know anyone who drinks this shit, the only ones I have seen by it are " children" who have stopped drinking larger and think they are "men"

Sad facts mate, that top 10 list is appalling, I don’t and wouldn’t touch any of them. I feel for people too who have not experimented, I’m a stout drinker, and have found some wonderful beers I could only wish I could find on draught! Love the video.. got yourself a new sub 🙏🏽🇬🇧

This stuff put me off trying ale for years. Terrible drink but for along time was the staple beer in most pubs.

Can you do Israel Goldstar which I think is a great mass produced canned lager as far as that is possible
@bandsbikesandboozereviews Жыл бұрын
Ha! Just been reading about the beer, the newspaper Haaretz has referred to Goldstar as "beer few Israelis are proud of". LOL!

The only beer I've ever had, thats even worse on draught than it is in cans.

That top10 lists shows how much people are lead by big advertising budgets and believe the bullshit .. Keep up the good work...do you remember a beer called godson black horse (GBH)a wonderful beer from our past...

My only go-to beer is the 4.2% nitro Guinness draught. I don't know why I just don't like other normal CO2 beers. But that's just me.

Hard to imagine that John and Samuel smith where related.

Was in Majorca last week drinking in German bars . To my horror most Germans drinking San Miguel.. see Morrisons have lowered the price of their regional ales section ie double maxim , etc to £1.33 a bottle so 4 for £4.

Sorry meant to mention Germans drinking John smiths as well as ..

You can buy a pack of 18 cans of this in Tesco for £16 - that tells you all you need to know about the quality 🤮

Blimey not drank this stuff or any smooth/nitro canned beer for years. Bland as f***.🤣 u need a Belgium after that👊

That top ten is depressing. May as well drink Skol as most of them. Even as a kid I knew John Smiths wasn’t very good. I used to like the adverts though (not as good as courage beer and Chas and Dave!).
@ReigningOnYourParade2 жыл бұрын
Never seen John Smith's in America. Not a fan of nitro, as well. I find if you shake your beer up, in a container that is like 3 times larger, than the beer, and then pour it in the glass, you will get a like nitro effect, and their will still be a bit of carbonation, holding up the head. Plus, who needs the taste of nitro.

You're not missing much. It's pretty dreadful stuff

Remember Caffreys from the 90s. Bloody awful stuff. John Smith's on cask was 5/10, ok if there was nothing else in the pub and it was well kept.

The top ten British beers is truly depressing. What hope for the country if that's what they drink? Bud on tap wasn't too bad 20 years ago... It was a real treat to find. Stella used to be a good beer too.... but of course, that was only when it was imported from Belgium... Even mass market beer tasted OK 20 years ago...now it's literally pish but I think pish would be better for you.

I agree mate, it's a sad state of affairs in this country when it comes to best-selling beer. People really are being ripped off.
@mrronald26492 жыл бұрын
Hi mate those sales figures are shocking , people need education lessons for beer ffs . Stella in my opinion is undrinkable , it’s absolutely awful . The unfiltered is ok I really liked it when first came out but when you session it , it’s gets kinda sickly it’s very sweet , haven’t fancied it for a while .
