I'm John's age and at this time in the mid-80s, I had a big crush on him. Simon too. We didn't get to see much more than videos back then, but when I did see John in one interview, I was smitten; he was intelligent, thoughtful, nice, and had such a nice smile. first of all i have never seen 80 year old guy that look as good as john in his 40's so that's an extreme exaggeration. he hasnt aged very well but i've seen a lot of people who's aging worse than him there are loads of people looks like 40 in their 20's. john looked young and beautiful in his 30's in fact he looked like he was in his 20's and although he has aged now he still better looking than most men in the world
