The fantastic scene from the second film featuring Sam Moore, James Brown & Joe Morton with Sharon Riley & Faith Chorale singing a fantastic rendition of John The Revelator. I have attempted to remove the scene where Cab interrupts Sam in full flow, as well as all the squad cars arriving, allowing Sam to finish. This removes context for Cab suddenly becoming a Blues Brother, but if you're watching this, I'm assuming you've seen the movie.

I really like the edit. (the police interruption, always annoyed me) I love this song and Sam Moore is one of my all time favorites. There is some slight clunky to the edit, but you took out 99.899 percent of the chunkiness of the annoying police interruption. I truly thank you for your effort. 👍

I have no idea why people think it's a terrible movie and never will understand. Have you not seen an actual terrible movie? Obviously this movie was an excuse to string a lot of great music together. The plot parts are just there to be an intentional tribute to the first movie. Like the recruiting the members thing. It was just a showcase for great music. Now Roller Gator, that's a terrible movie. I know terrible movies, and this ain't one of them.

@@nicholasmoose6574 I know this is a late response. But I want to say that terrible movie may have been too strong of a statement. I judge it against the original BB movie. So I will say this from time to time because the BB2k may actually be as good or even better musically than BB, but the story and overall movie was not nearly as good. So I will take back calling it a terrible movie, and say it truly almost had a chance to be so much better, just wish somebody had written a better script (really could have been an all time great with that right script). I tried rewatching the entire movie about a decade ago, but had to ffwd some of the really stupid parts of the non musical parts. I really should rewatch the whole thing again, this movie probably deserve my respect more. And I should give it a rewatch. - - - But I think most anybody could agree the music in both movies was some of the best performance of music in any movie ever! This song in particular is a phenomenal gospel performance. And is my fav in both movies, but probably is because Sam is the Man! and one of my favorite singer of any genre, not just Gospel.
