Happened to run into this miniseries on demand. I was impressed with the beautifully preserved old neighborhoods from the early 40’s. I was also impressed with the tightness and cameradie exhibited in the Jewish community. What caught my eye the most was my first experience watching Zoe Kazan. I was blown away by how authentic her character was played, and her charismatic glue that held this family together, and of course her beauty. It really was one of best performances in a miniseries that I have ever seen.
