The Bible was birthed by the Church. The sub-apostolic Church existed without the Bible as we know it for a couple hundred years before the Church through councils decided established the New Testament canon. There is also the issue of MT versus LXX for the Old Testament. This mitigates against Sola Scriptura as the exclusive authority for faith and morals. The Fathers and councils matter.

Mr. Tweeddale, the Reformation was not the first radical split of the church, and your claim, as such, is so wrong that it is not helpful. As a Protestant I am grieved for the Reformers to be represented in this way.
