There are few possibilities how you can play this song. 1. Like i play it on the video, of course. 2. With capo on first fret...little less movement to your left hand because of the open string option. 3. Tune your guitar half step up...if you don´t have capo.

Did you notice that as the chorus moves from the I to the IV to the V chord, that the guitar keeps stabbing the I chord without moving on to the the IV chord with the rest of the song? I know Gary Myrick played the guitar part. It’s an interesting choice, and sounds great.
