Always great to listen to this legend. I could listen to him all day long. I feel like we're always being treated to insider information, and he explains everything in such detail. You don't get this anymore from the corporate types, they're too afraid to say the wrong thing or give too much away. So glad he is still involved with the towers and were not done yet with his amazing creations.

Fantastic - huge thanks for sharing. John is a legend, his life has been amazing (his autobiography was the most fascinating book I have ever read) and it's always entertaining to hear his views on theme parks, roller coasters and the future. Great video.

What an amazing down to earth man . We were lucky to meet him at Alton towers back on roller coaster day in 2019 . He was so generous with his time and took time to engage with everyone who queued in the rain to see him . If B&M had a patent on their track design it has expired since (20 years after it was filed), so there must be another reasons nobody (except for chinese manufacturers) is copying that. Does anybody know the patent number? I couldn't find anything regarding the track.

Good question, but not sure on the answer. Love how the older rides still look as good as the new ones as the track design has always been so consistent.
