I'd like to coin the phrase "Cluster Quotes", because there's so much fantastic content in one or two scenes, hell, they're all quotable. . . Three of the very BEST QUOTES of John Wayne were hinged upon each other. They were from 'Big Jake' & he, as Mr. Jacob McCandles & here are my favorite parts: "Well Son, since you haven't learned to respect your elders, it's time you learn to respect your betters!" then there's "I hope you can use that hog leg better than you can fight." AND OF COURSE: "You can call me Father, you can call me Jacob, you can call me Jake - - you can call me a dirty son-of-a-bitch. But if you ever call me Daddy again, I'll finish this fight." BUT, there is one word if The Duke didn't have his hand on some sort of firearm that would chill men's shit. And that's if he bellowed out the word: "DOG!" A true fan might get that one too.

If you noticed John Wayne has a Diamond Back Rattlesnake headband on his hat. I have one myself on my 30 X Beaver felt Stetson Hat made in Garland Tex. The Hat was, the headband is more Southeastern as mine is studded with alligator teeth standing upright, attached and surrounding the hatband. Both John Wayne's and mine look excellent and add a bad ass look to the hat. You can bet your Boots John Wayne's Hat is a Stetson. Although mine is Black, John Wayne's is a color known as silver belly. Obviously it is the silver color of a snake's silver belly.
