I came from co Wexford,wellington Bridge, my father played the accordion and the mouth organ.. He wasn’t a man to to go out and socialise much ,but loved to play at home regularly. We children loved to listen and shout down from upstairs in bed ,what’s that tune called dad, he would tell us ,and we would ask what’s the next tune called and so on. ,until my mother would say” will you put that thing away or the children will never go to sleep. We were 11 children so you could understand how she felt. Dad could play the accordion and the mouth organ at same time,as children we thought that was magic. Long live your joy of music.
