John Wick 4 Premiere: Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, and cast walk the red carpet in Hollywood

STORY: Stars of 'John Wick 4' walked the red carpet in Hollywood on Monday (March 21) for the movie's premiere.
The latest instalment in the blockbuster franchise sees Wick, played by Hollywood icon Keanu Reeves uncovering a plan to defeat the High Table. But before he can be free, he has to face another new enemy.
Returning to the franchise along with Reeves is actor Laurence Fishburne, who also worked with the star on the Matrix Trilogy.
The movie franchise is known for its fast-paced and carefully constructed fight scenes, with martial arts a key theme. Among the stars binging their skills to the latest instalment, British action actor and martial arts fighter Scott Adkins who has previously starred in movies including The Bourne Ultimatum, Zero Dark Thirty and Doctor Strange.
"If you're doing it right, the action is painful. It hurts. You've got to be some sort of sadomasochist to really enjoy it. I don't particularly enjoy the process of it, what I love is the end result and that's what makes it all worthwhile. Chad, Keanu had a saying on the set and it was "Wick is pain", Adkins told Reuters during the red carpet.
English TV icon, Ian McShane who has been a stalwart of the series reprises his role as Winston.
John Wick 4 will also be the last in the series to feature the late Lance Reddick. The star of The Wire, Bosch and previous John Wick instalments passed away just days ago, leaving a huge hole in the hearts of co-stars and friends.
"He's been a such an influence in the series. I think his DNA is all over this movie" says Director, Chad Stahelski.
John Wick 4 opens in US movie theaters on March 24.

A fitting end to one of the best movie franchises in recent decades. Quite incredulous in parts, but no flab in this installment, every actor/character is there for a purpose and made the story flow, despite the non-stop (some would say sensory overload) action. Hiroyuki Sanada and Donnie Yen brought much to the film, as did Clancy Brown. Skarsgaard was a bit pantomine villain, but played it well too. Good movie. Beats everything out of Marvel after End Game.

@@leigako283 i do not think he died. i think he is living a normal life in different name... remember he killed the marquee and his death has a replacement that would still hunt him even he has freedom already... like Caine that even he was blind and having his freedom and retired from service, once he was called to do the duty he had to come back even he begged not to in front of the marquee... when Jonathan friends were talking in front of his tomb, King asked Winston if Jonathan is in hell or heaven, the facial expression of Winston and answer is not sure... and after the credits at the end, the daughter of the GM from Osaka Continental took revenge to Caine...which means, if this movie would go $1B globally, there could be John Wick 5. Remember there is John Wick 4 coz John Wick 3 had beyond $500M earning globally.

the credit is how the support cast of this movie performed from Bill Skarsgaard to Caine to Tracker to Scott Adkins. I hadn't heard about them. I only knew about Skarsgard and that too seen him in very different type of roles. but the way they performed. the way they acted. Action is one thing. But to act. To bring the genuineness is something which was great. they nailed their roles. recently the cast and crew of Killers of Flower Moon got a standing ovation but the cast and crew of this movie deserve it. This movie just blows you away and yet ends on a sentimental note. One of the best movies of the decade.
