This is way more realistic then 80's shows that don't aim and spray and pray! lol watch his training for these shows he could do all this in real life from all the fighting and gun training he learned... its fair to say the most deadly person in hollywood!!!

When it came to stunts the only thing Keanu Reeves needed stuntmen for was cars and fighting on the stairs. The guns, the fighting, the martial arts was all Keanu.

Its' so touching that he didn't even care about the care. All he wanted was the letter from his wife. The doctor that patches John Wick up is also in the matrix. He's the Keymaker in the sequel.

"He's offered seven million dollars for your life. Seven million dollars is a lot of money, Mr. Wick." "So I guess you have a choice. You want a war? Or do you wanna just give me a gun?" "Somebody, please! Get this man a gun!" Boom! HEADSHOT!! 😎 Fun Fact: This is the first time Laurence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves worked together since The Matrix Revolutions (2003). Payday Crossover Fact: In the subway when the $7 million contract is being sent worldwide, you can see a graffiti drawing of a character (Chains) from Payday 2 (2013). After the first installment of John Wick (2014) was released, John Wick (Keanu Reeves) became a playable character in the game. Location Location Fact: Partially filmed in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The city's architecture and various landmarks are noticeable; in the first scene John drives past the Scotiabank Theatre on Saint Catherine Street, where the movie would be shown in 2017. The French signs were replaced with the typical New York City subway signs in English. Action Star Fact: Following up on the last movie, Keanu Reeves performed about 95% of the film's stunts himself. The only stunts that he didn't do are the ones in which John Wick gets hit by a car, and the one in which he falls down the stairs during the fight with Cassian (Common). To prepare for the role, Keanu Reeves trained for three months. His training consisted of judo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, marksmanship and driving. Reeves had retained almost all the training from the original movie, requiring very little time to get back up to speed. The instructors commented that by the end of his training, Reeves could easily be the one training them, and his proficiency ratings were better than most seasoned professional soldiers. Greeko Romanic Connection Fact: There are multiple references to Greek and Roman lore in the film. Lance Reddick's character's name, Charon, is a reference to the ferryman who shepherds souls to the underworld in Greek mythology. Ruby Rose's character, Ares, is the Greek God of War. Common's character, Cassian, could be a reference to John Cassian, a Roman saint, or Cassius Dio, a Roman statesman and historian. Franco Nero's character, Julius, refers to Gaio Giulio Cesare (Julius Caesar). Willem Dafoe's character from the first John Wick (2014), Marcus, and John Leguizamo's character, Aurelio, combine to refer to Marcus Aurelius, a Roman emperor. Even John Wick's (Keanu Reeves) late wife, Helen (Bridget Moynahan), could be a reference to Helen of Troy.

The reason this movie is more enjoyable than 80’s movies, is because its realistic. It was choreographed by real stunt actors, the director is Keanus stunt actor from The Matrix series. There are actual gun reloads incorporated in the scenes, bullets match the actual gun being used, martial arts are actually able to be recreated. And because of Keanu’s huge effort to learn the material in real life, allows the director for longer sequences without cuts, which make it more enjoyable to see all the action. Its the small details that make a huge difference, this is totally different than your classic 80s action movie where reloads do not exist, and alot of cuts are used in scenes to add movement. The realistic feel is what has made it so popular.

Wait until you get to John Wick Chapter 4!!!! There is a fight scene that sets a new high standard for cinematography. If you think the action went to 11 in JW Chapter 2, it goes to 11,000 in Chapter 4, but you have to see "John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum" first. The movies truly are in serial form.

If you really like Keanu you should check out his romantic movie: “A Walk In The Clouds “ His character comes home from serving in World War Two and meets an unwed and pregnant woman, she’s afraid to go home so he agrees to pose as her husband for a while to make her family happy and works with them on their vineyard. Romantic and beautiful scenery and great cast!

That line from Winston tho "You stabbed the devil in the back and forced him back into the life that he had just left." In front of a statue of Kali on top of that god I LOVE IT! Kali is a Hindu god often associated with death ad violence, but i believe in that scene there is a double meaning as he was just freed from his marker. Some Hindu sects believe that Kali also gives "moksha" (liberation).

Fun fact--the character of John Rambo was based on a real person. They had to _tone down_ the shenanigans, as they didn't think people would believe one guy was that bad-ass. That's not the only example of real-life being unbelievable. I can buy _most_ of the shenanigans here, since so many of the stunts were practical, or at least mostly so. Real guys took those rolls over cars, those tumbles down stairs, all that. They were stuntmen, of course, who trained in those specific acts, but even so, I don't find _everything_ out of the realm of possibility. All that said--yeah I definitely prefer the first one to this. I like the story, but I feel like the balance of action and plot wasn't as well-maintained as it was in the previous one. It rode the line much better, while this one seems to lean more heavily on the side of action for action's sake. I haven't seen any of the other movies in the franchise, so I have no idea if they get better or not, but I admit I'd be more than a little cautious.

Bullet resistant suits are real and for one capable of stopping all the calibers and, assuming most of them use AP (armor piercing), he would need a level 4 soft insert so, $50,000 for a reliable one. The pencil did not break because all #2 pencils become a #1 when used by John Wick🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Shooting to body first gives a chance to act thus somehow its honourable. If you just shoot at the head means you are doing cold hearted murder, If you remember everytime he killed anyone, he always looked at the person in the eye. its more like you dont draw your sword against another swordsman and start going to cut the neck without giving a fighting chance, though in swords the opponent will not allow easily to get their head cut, thus its more a gun warfare than just killing.

In ancient times legends tell of a group of killers and spies for hire calling themselves Assa-sins. They charged in gold. Many believe theses became the Beggers Clans in China and Shinobi or Ninjas of Japan. This movie make the assumption the organization survived and grew.
