fun fact: since it would have confused the dogs when to many people shouting to many diffrent commands on set hailey barry actually learned to train the two stunt dogs themself so they only have to recognize and remember her commands.

I wish for the 4th movie he becomes the nightmare that everyone is calling him. Baba Yaga coming from the darkness and killing everyone at the high table quietly and without trace (like the mechanic but more hands on, not with explosives and such but piano wire and knives, close-up and quiet like the Boogeyman).

@@Anino_Makata I'd kinda like to see, at the start of 4, the doctor that seems to stitch up all the assassins in New York sewing a new Ring Finger onto John at the start of 4. Say they're using some new medical tech to reconnect the nerves. Save them from have to CGI out Keanu's finger in every scene they show his left hand in. And after the new finger, John and the Bowery King are ready to take revenge on the High Table.

Every time I see the actor that plays Winston .....I'm sorry I don't even know his name.... It just pisses me off that he didn't have more than one episode in Game of Thrones. He seems like he would have been perfect for some main character. In my opinion he seems more built to be on Game of Thrones than even people like ned Stark. I would argue that, while Equilibrium was the first to use Gun-Kata named as such, the origins stretch back to the "Heroic Bloodshed" movies of John Woo. Great reaction you guys. As an Australian young man myself I loved the John Wick film franchise because it is so awesome, so badass, so entertaining, so fascinating, so intense, and so wild & my favourite one was the first film. Poor John he was orphaned when he was a boy, he lost his childhood joy by being indoctrinated to be trained as a ruthless assassin plus hitman for different criminal organizations, he lost his beloved wife Helen to terminal illness, his first dog Daisy was killed, his friend Harry was killed, his friend Marcus was murdered, his cool vintage car wrecked, his beautiful house blown up, his continental hotel privileges lost, his continental allies turn against him, he lost his reputation, he lost his safety, he lost his ring-finger, & he had to give up his deceased wife’s wedding ring to the Elder of the High Table, what is he going to lose next? absolutely depressing & painful. This poor tough man can’t even a catch a break. The only time he caught a break when he married his wife Helen for five years until she sadly passed away. He lost mostly everything positive in his life. Any normal human being around the world would have committed suicide if they experience those awful tragedies in their life. Like seriously his life is literally a never-ending nightmare absolutely devastating. Life is full of ongoing suffering like seriously it is so not fair that we humans have to experience depressing chapters in our lives, but I guess that is the price of being born alive into this sad wicked world.

The two short Asian guys who John fought with the belt in the end, they are major characters in the Indonesian martial arts films The Raid 1(Redemption) and 2(Berandal). And the lead assassin in the beginning knife fight was the antagonist in the Jackie Chan movie Shanghai Noon. In very many Asian films, stuntmen also fill in acting roles, in some cases not just for the hell of it, but they are also capable actors. I've worked on a small time local martial arts TV show back in 2007 and most of the stuntmen filled the part of the antagonists. They were surprisingly great in acting.

Mr. Clean as you call him is Mark Dacascos son of legendary martial artist Al Dacascos. He makes action movies himself & is an instructor to boot. The two gentlemen he fought near the end are veterans of the legendary Raid series. Donnie Yen is scheduled for John Wick 4

As others have said, don't forget that all of the movies lead one into the other, so at the time of the fights in this, John was quite tired and still coming out of multiple years of retirement. Imagine how amazing things would be if he was well rested and at the top of his game. As for Winston shooting him, he knew that John was wearing a tactical suit, so he knew where to shoot him so as not to cause him harm. The fall was the worst damage he took from that encounter on the roof. Great reaction guys, and congrats on the 30K!! I can't wait for John Wick 4 as well as more of your reactions!

Fight scenes are also more satisfying when they don't have cuts, old martial arts movies had few cuts and were impactful in a way. And old films were shot on film, so much more expensive. All shit is now digital so there's no reason to not just learn choreography so a scene doesn't have 25 cuts like Jason Bourne vs the guy in the apartment

Well, on the dog fight, where they filmed it was kinda overrun by stray cats. They'd be in the middle of a scene, cat pops out, dogs brain goes,"Ooo, Kitten McNuggets..." and they had to reset. So, they got a cat wrangler, built little kitty apartments where they could keep them, and continued on.

1:59 “Parabellum” is actually 2 latin words “Para” and “Bellum” which basically translates to “prepare for War”. The full phrase is “Si vis pacem, para bellum” which translates to “If you want peace, prepare for War”.

The title Parabellum comes from an old Latin saying, "Si Vis Pacem, Parabellum" which means "If you want peace, prepare for war" which is appropriate, tbh, given the John Wick franchise.

More people died in the 2nd movie. In this, they went for a more creative approach for the action scenes. And it was the right thing to do, in order to avoid becoming too repetitive. They are doing a great job with this series, everything is so well planned

"Distinctive for its long balletic action sequences, 77 people are killed onscreen in the first John Wick, a massive 128 in John Wick: Chapter 2 and a slightly more sensible in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. So altogether that makes 299 kills by one man so far, and there's still two more films to come. "-Gamerant

The dogs used were Belgian Malinois - the same high-drive breed of dogs the Secret Service uses to actively protect the US President (as two of these did on October 22, 2014). Also, they filmed the shootout scenes with the dogs in Morocco, which is aptly called the "City of Cats." Not surprisingly, they had some problems shooting the scenes, because of all the cats that would come around the set. The cats wouldn't stay long, since the dogs would drop whatever they were doing and chase after the cats. 27:20 Marc Dacasos' sitting down where he did was totally improvised - and Keanu Reeves (and, consequently, the director) played along.

Even though Wick is wearing black in the desert, the heat will dissipate before it reaches his skin because he has another layer of clothing under his coat. Bedouins in the desert discovered ages ago that thick black robes are actually cooler than thin clothing. My dad worked in Saudi Arabia for a long time and his usual clothing was a leather motorcycle jacket, a flannel shirt, and an undershirt. And he had to work out in the open the whole day, without any shade. On another note...In case you didn't notice, the line "guns...lots of guns" was also said by Neo in The Matrix.

It's funny you should mention that John could kill the Avengers. A few years ago there was a floated idea, that I think Marvel scraped. The Ballet place that John went to was supposed to be tied into Black Widow's red room world of trained assassins. I had mentioned in one of the other videos that Keanu has people in this trilogy that worked with him in other movies. I mentioned how the Whedonverse has been like that since it started. Such a humble way to pay it forward and help other side type actors get some more shine. The doc was the Keymaker from the second Matrix. The Russian brother that took his care in the second movie, played Satan in Constantine with Keanu. The guy that put a bag over his head in the first John Wick movie played an upgraded agent in the second Matrix movie. And then there's the director who also worked with Keanu before. The knife fight was brutal and I thoroughly enjoyed you guys squirming and freaking out. You're top hat.😉 Btw, bro in the back is so cute.🥰
