The Table scenes are more beautiful because they are above the scum underneath, they get light, focus, clarity. The other scenes under the table *feel* like you are in another world, because they are, and the table is above them casting their shadow over them all.

1) That opening monologue is from Dante. The Bowery King is metaphorically opening the doors to hell (marked with "abandon all hope, ye who enter here") and unleashing John Wick on the Table. 2) The producers are actually very careful with the ammo count and reloads. They assume maximum ammo, but never go above the weapon's capacity before showing a weapon swap or reload. 3) The woman who sent Wick with the "I am Klaus" guy played Osha, the woman who traveled with Hodor and Brann in GoT. That's the easter egg. 4) Killa is played by Scott Adkins in a fat suit. He's a legit Karate master and has done a ton of choreography work, but this is one of the rare movies that he is in front of the camera. 5) They explain in an interview that Caine gave his eyes because they told him that they would kill his daughter if he ever saw her again. He literally made it impossible for them to even accuse him of "seeing" her. 6) This is nowhere near the end of the universe. There is going to be a John Wick 5, a spinoff movie about a woman from his clan (shown in III), and a TV show set in the 70 called Continental (the trailer is out for this). After this movie, it's pretty clear who needs to be given any potential Cyberpunk movie. A lot of the unrealistic parts of this series work because they are consistent. For example, Wick's improbably armored suit isn't something that he just has--it's something that most of his enemies have as well, creating an internal logic in this world that doesn't create a special rule for the hero.

Koji take care of his daughter by dying, remember that the table dont kill managers they kill their concierge, which is heavier since his is his daughter so he chooses to die for them to dont go after his daughter

Makes sense that the only way this film could end is by giving the impression that he chose to die in order for Caine and his daughter to be set free. The villain said one thing that was very true and Wick is well aware of that. John has nothing to live for, Caine has everything to live for.

I saw the colour palette for the high table choice to be representative of how the high table sees things in black in white. You’re either serving them or expendable. The underworld where everything gets done and real characters with subtleties and variations have all the colour.

There is an archetypal character of the blind swordsman in Asian historical media. Ultra heightened senses of touch, smell, and hearing. One of the most famous is a character in samurai films called Zatoichi. Caine is modeled on that although he is not Japanese.

This movie, I had to pause it so many times. The 800 hour long fight scenes were too long. The 500 lb guy should not have been able to do round house spin kicks, if you watch, John Wick fights the same 4 guys the entire movie, guess they couldn't hire extras.. The camera work was amazing, but they really needed more plot/story instead of an endless supply of bad guys. John Wick was almost super human in this one vs the original. Good story, but my least favorite of all of them. The original imo was the best. -- Now how many people are gonna start calling me names for giving my opinion on this movie? You don't see me bashing people for liking the movie.

I agree. I like this movie but it had too much fan service and not enough plot. To me the 'Tracker' (Shamier Anderson) character was completely forced and the movie would have been fine, maybe even better, without him (no disrespect to Shamier Anderson). John Wick has never needed a protector following him around so I'm wondering why they created that character. Also he only gave the dog like 1 actual command so even the dog felt forced only for fan service. Unlike Halle Berry who you could tell was actually working with the dogs. It feels like they were more focused on how to set up 'Akira' (Rina Sawayama) for her own franchise and Shamier Anderson will likely be a part of that franchise or something. I do like Rina Sawayama so hopefully that movie will have a strong John Wick feel to it and create a solid franchise. Good movie but in ranking it is #4 and I am a big fan of fan service but I feel like they went a little too far with it.

My theory is that Caine isn't completely blind. Legally blind maybe but not completely. Pretending to be completely blind gives him an advantage, and he doesn't want the high table to fix their mistake if he does maintain some level of sight. Otherwise, he'd have no reason to avert his eyes when he throws the flash bang.

I have heard that John didn't die but is portrayed to be dead, so nobody goes looking for him. And Keanu Reeves himself said he would be doing a number 5. So we shall see.

Yes, 5 may be greenlit BUT I don't believe John will be alive in it. I think we'll get Wick's backstory. The Cinematography was absolutely stunning throughout per usual.

Nah. John is Still Alive, pretending to be dead. If John stays 'Alive' he'll still be fighting till he dies of old age. So I believe he's pretending to be dead so that nobody will still be coming after or after the ones who are close to him.

This film could have had 30 minutes cut and not lose anything. We didn't need to see Wick wax another 20 guys the night before the duel. It added nothing and felt like a video game at one point. Many unanswered questions in this like how did the bounty hunter's book always tell him where Wick was going to be? That was never explained. This film had the elements of a much better film but really fell short and became tedious

I think John Wick 2 or 3 would have been a far better ending, if only they had said his body was not on the ground and vanished and left it there. Like he just vanished and left the mystery of if he was or was not alive. The 4th movie was far to unbelievable and illogical.
