The things with Donnie Yen stabbing john right hand, is so John could not use his dominant more accurate hands against donnie, so john is FORCED to use his left hands. its actually establishing that john is more accurate shooter than donnie if he is able to use his right hands. so it is to even the odds.

A lot of the “dumb” aspect of Donnie’s character actually make sense in a hyper exaggerated way. If you realize, he is completely quiet when he fights. Knowing that he needs to listen to the movement, metal, and sounds of those he is fighting. I’m pretty sure there is also scenes where he actually misses and at times unloads half a clip at nobody, which comes across funny but you know he is blind. Even the dual at the end makes sense cause all he has to do is shoot straight. And through the acting and lines, you know Caine realizes he is dead as he is blind. He has no sounds to determine during a standing western duel. That’s why he is shocked when he thinks he won the dual, recognizing John never shot before we learn that. He doesn’t need eyes lol.

I felt the ending to be poignant but also believe that John Wick may still be alive since we never see his body. Even Winston never gives a definite answer to the King's query. While John Wick 2 is my least favorite movie in the franchise (it’s still a very good movie and love it) one of the things I appreciate about it is the introduction of the bullet proof suits. Dragon Breath rounds seen from a Birds Eye perspective in what looked like a single shot take…I put that up there with some of the best action sequences of all time. Loved the Osaka Continental fight scene and the club fight scene with Scott Adkins. This movie just knows its audience so well…the whole audience in my theater winced when he got kicked and shoved off the stairs on his way to the final duel.

John Wicks TTI JW4 Pit Viper is actually a real gun you can buy for $7,000. I hear it really is the best handgun ever made, and for $7,000 it ought to be. Also Lance Reddick (The Concierge) died of natural causes March 17th, RIP.

The first act when John shot that mercenary through the bullet proof glass until it broke. And then walked through it and continued to shoot him was so cold 🥶. I'm a tad disappointed that nobody mentions the blatant homage to The Warriors. Yeah, it's an older movie that was re-released on the 2000s, along with a video game, but I lost my mind when that part happened. I'm 34 years old, and seen that movie many times, so when John Wick 4 basically ripped the entire "Nowhere to Run" segment into the last act, including the song, I laughed my ass of and had a giant smile on my face. I've seen many reviews for John Wick Chapter 4, but not a single one mentioned it.

This is the worst out of the franchise. I went to the cinema to watch the movie and left underwhelmed. But I thought maybe if I watch it at home my opinion would change...so I waited until it released on digital, watched it... And I unfortunately still feel the same. Don't get me wrong, The cinematography of this movie is beautiful... in Osaka, in the club, and pretty much all of the movie... And of course not forgetting the birdseye view fight with John flaming those assassins...but that's where my compliments for this movie end. The opening fight with John riding his horse in the desert and shooting those other guys was underwhelming and could've been cut out of the movie. The horse fight with motorcycles involved in John Wick 3 was more entertaining. The fight scene in Osaka felt like a repeat of the fight scene in John Wick 3 towards the end. A blind assassin... really? One scene he needs those doorbell sounding thingies to sense where his opponents are and the next he's shooting like a guy that can see... I know pretty much everything about John Wick isn't real but come on...a blind assassin? He's like Daredevil. Don't get me started on Mr nobody...his character was just there... Not remarkable at all, even his dog because we already got a badass with cool fight dogs in the previous installment and he's supposed to be raising money to buy this dog but he's putting it in harms way by getting it involved in fights. And of course, the main character... John Wick. I really didn't like that they made him repeat those iconic lines from the previous films into this new one..."Yeeeeeah", "Guns, lots of guns", "I'm going to kill them all"... Did writers stop being creative? People were getting hit by cars and getting shot and there was accidents on a very popular France road...and there wasn't any cops in sight? Or any civilian casualties? Come on. Overall, John Wick 4 felt like a parody of the John Wick movies. I feel like an alien because I seem to be the only one that didn't like the movie.

So just gonna give my own opinion on the Common situation and him not returning. No he did not die directly in the scene, but he was put in a position where he would likely die after John left. He was stated to only be able to live if he didn't pull out the knife. But that doesn't mean he would live forever. Personally I think he would have likely died from that injury later because eventually the knife is gonna get taken out and most likely would have killed him then. Don't know if they actually stated 100% he was able to survive and get medical attention, but I feel like the moment that knife was in his heart it was game over sooner or later

Caine stabbing John’s hand made it so he would have to shoot with his left hand. It’s a small subtle detail. I think the other guys are being a little harsh on the movie. Less realistic (which all action movies are) does not hinder my enjoyment or the execution of the film.

I like they kind of retconned the Elder from the Table by killing him in the beginning. That was arguably the most mixed thing about the sequels. Chapter 3 is still my personal favorite. Following up where Chapter 2 left off, John's bounty being posted forced him to take on a full onslaught of assassins right from the start. I felt like that was much more gripping than having him take out one High Table dude in the desert . While still dangerous, The Table are more of an ambiguous existential threat for John, and its more relatable to the audience to see John taking on standard goons. Like, remind us how cool John is right from the start rather than just having him pick off one dude in the desert.

I guess john wick is the terminator now lol. Bullets bounce off of him, he can fall 5 storys and keep fighting. To unrealistic for me. Its just 100 percent spectacle, with no realism like the 1st one had. Regardless of the amazing stunt work/choreography, it just takes me out of the film. Donnie Yen's character was just ridiculous. Y'know, this is pretty much a video game. The suspension is disbelieve these movies are demanding is ridiculous and since there is no believability to anything there are pretty much no stakes whatsoever. Lets list the ridiculous points, or some of them 1. This assassin guilde is supposed to be an underground society or whatever? So why are there no civilians anywhere who FREAK THE F... OUT when people kill each other around them? Why is there no police, FBI and so on? Why do they broadcast their assassin radio from the Eiffel tower? Wouldn't anyone notice that? 2. John wick often just walks down the street as an easy target. Instead of blindly charging at him you could either shoot him from far away or boobytrap the location he is heading or maybe coordinate your attack. Have people placed on the roof and shoot at the same time? Y'know like what they did in the beginning with those archers... 3. The motivation for killing him is money (I guess). After he killed 100 colleagues, maybe the 101st would lose morale and run away? Is money really such a high drive? How would you even prove that you were the one who killed him? Sure the action and Choreography is top notch but if no one behaves like a human being there are just zero stakes and for me this plagues this series since the 2nd part. There is just no believability to anything. Of course this kind of movie doesn't need to be realistic but then they can just skip the overly serious parts which also would shorten it to an acceptable length...
