That's how a car should look like. I am totally into public transportation, cheap and easy travelling from A to B. These cars are just an expression of a lifestyle. That's what cars should be. Not a hazard to the environment or a necessity because of failed city planning. 99% of people who need cars have no interest in cars. I think effective cheap public transportation is the future. And the few people who truly love beautiful cars are a minor problem.

The best part about this is knowing I had one! 69 Mach1, 351 Cleveland with a three speed manual ( 2cd. gear was wonderful). Gold and black..iconic , great memories… I’m 72 now and my 67 year old brother still talks about it! Had several Mustangs, loved my 2015 GT PP but the styling of the 69 was unbeatable. The new ones are unbelievably well handling, superb braking and powerful… fun fun fun… but I’ll never forget memories of that Mach 1

It doesn’t have the Boss 429 hood(scoop). That would be the Mach scoop w/o shaker scoop. But nothing shows to prove it’s the Mach either. Just a 69 sports roof mustang. Mach’s didn’t have the lemans stripes either. It would of been a flat black hood. Sports roof name was used starting with the 69’ before that it was called the fastback. Sweet cars either way. 69 Mach’s never had the rocker trim either, not until 70’.

The trim isn’t 70 Mach 1 trim. It’s aftermarket. It doesn’t say “Mach 1” near the rear wheel well. Everything else you mentioned is right though. Pretty sure the car is actually a regular fastback, with a bunch of aftermarket parts.

Indeed, for make it looking like a true Boss 429, a mono-colour paint, the majored scoop in the hood and the lateral stickers "429 boss" are the only thinks you need (anyway the 429 was different in some dimensions too) anyway the Mustang used in the film is a really nice one!!!

No oversized Boss 429 fiberglass functional hood scoop, No Boss 429 decal on fenders, Mach 1 deluxe comfort weave interior, Mach 1 non-functional fiberglass hood scoop, ridiculous stripes that never came factory on ANY 1969 mustang.
