I have one person on my bucket list, not Harrison, Spielberg…. Just John The Man Williams. He explains the story, character, feel of every movie through his sound track! To understand how he tells each story and purely defines the meaning of each character, tone of the movie and extracts our emotion out of us ….. it’s truly genius. How do you feel a movie through sound and completely get it!!? I pray that one day I get to meet you and don’t make an idiot of myself.🙏 ty John!

I listen to a lot of podcasts including all of yours, but this is the best one I have ever heard. Honestly, just to hear about the music and how it came together, especially Close Encounters. I absolutely loved listening to John and it could have gone on forever. 💗💗💗

I hear his voice and he is the grandfather carrying on the legacy of composing and guiding it into the 21st century. ❤ I would like to write a musical based on the film using his score for Fitzwilly "Johhny Williams!" Of course the musical would star Sean Hayes as Fitzwilly. 😂❤ thank you Sean, thank you guys for this gift. HUG HIM FOR ALL OF US, Jason!! ❤❤🏌🎵❤️❤

Yes though he didn’t record the original Africa. Joseph *was* the singing voice of adult Simba in the original animated “Lion King,” though.
@dlh7989
@dlh7989 7 ай бұрын
@@thegoodgeneral Correct, Joseph isn't on "Africa," "Hold the Line," "Rosanna." He was only on two albums in the 80s but has since toured around with them. So yes, despite his career with Toto, his voice is probably most recognizable to everyone from "Hakuna Matata" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight"
