My brother and I picked this song as our dads funeral song. He died at 56 and we miss him every day. There was not a dry eye in the room. Love you dad.

... I never knew off your loss John ... I lost my one and only brother also at the youngish age of only 46 ... All alone in the world now ... but as you sing ... you have to celebrate the memories and the sunsets and sunrises we still get to see. Cheers for the song John.

Hey John. Little amendment to the 'Quick Story' I shared outside the Supermarket recently,( spare guitar strings) but regarding this song. Part of the group of my friends you gifted entry to your show at Twin Towns was My drummers Sister.. She was in final stages of C. The song you played when we 1st came in the room was this one. He told me today it was a very special moment for His family. Thanks Again. Bud.

As perhaps the ONLY Yank performing John's stuff for American audience, I'm pleased to see JW is putting out these videos. They help me with their meanings, their chord structure, and it puts to video JW's amazing power. This vid is especially poignant to me, since I never got to 'cruise down the river' with my sister before her death in 1977. Onya, mate!
