A brilliant brilliant singer...Just found out about John in the last few weeks and I have been continually playing is music. So sorry to hear that this man passed away at a relatively young age. Also his backing group were very good..

I heard Piece sing this long, long ago. Until I heard John's version I could never imagine anyone else singing this. This version is so different and yet, to me just as powerful as the original. What a beautiful understated performance.
