Another gem to listen to…….I often feel the need to listen to some beautiful words and music…and John Wright and his fantastic band fit the bill….every time…..oh how I miss this fantastic bloke and his brilliant band….but I have the beautiful memories of all the shows I attended…..fabulous - every single one 😢

This is the song which led me to "find" John Wright. I wanted Stan Roger's version, stumbled on this..... and was instantly hooked. But dammit, why is it that I only found these two great artists after they'd passed on?

Interesting version. The original Stan Rogers has much more of a rugged, labouring class feel to it, which I think I prefer, but this is also very good.
