Remember, this song first came out in 1966 by David Houston. To take a song from that far back and be successful with it is a feat, but appears this is what she did, as with other songs from long ago. This is a very good idea, as people today long for or like music from that era.

After watching this song a few times, I discovered something that is unusual. I believe this is a studio recording, and not made outdoors. If you notice at min. 1:20 she is singing with someone, perhaps herself.on multi-track, as did Skeeter Davis. Not sure the electric guitars are plugged in, they are not even playing them. Not knocking the song, it is fine if they want to do this, and they did a good job of it. In the song with David Houston, he too harmonized with someone. Will no doubt get a lot of comments, but I like to hear what other people think. As I said, nothing wrong to do this, and it takes talent to pull it off.
