A tip on the falling leaf is to get your weight over the foot of the direction you want to go. It makes for an easy left right slip slip. It’s great for beginners to navigate steep section. Or steep mogul mine fields for anyone

Went to board for the 2nd time today and managed to master the heel side falling leaf. Fell hard on my butt a few times on the toe side exercises... slushy snow was not kind. Heel to toe edge changes are more terrifying than I initially thought. 🥴
