High end D or ice amp are quite good. S/N is off the charts. But no doubt cheap D amp sucks.

I prefer TDA7265. contains two TDA2050s with LM1875 smoothness. I love felines too. cheers from Indonesia

I just salvaged the chip from my old crossover speakers it sounds really good until it broke.. lol will build it into new circuit in near future

Bonito el circuito, yo los uso los tda2050 como driver les pongo 2 transistores de salida, así las copias chinas no me dan problemas, ya que desde mi país mandar a comprarlos a otro país al menos para mí es muy dificultoso y originales en mi país es una proeza encontrarlos. Gracias por compartir.

Hi John, watching your videos for sometimes now......i need a 2.1 amp board( previous smd board blown) need : subs 80wrms @4ohms, tops 25wrms @ 4ohms, Question, can we safely bridge 4 ic ? Is it possible?

Jameco has TDA2030a's and LM3886t in stock. I would think they are the real deal. Unfortunately I have two cheap amp kits and they both have the fake TDA2030a in them. I plan on paying the $3.00 each to get real ones. It sounds good for cheap Chinese IC, so I would imagine the real thing will sound much better.

Helo John, very nice and clarify videos... Some people say that bridge configuration have the problem of more distortion than single... Do you agree? Maybe you did a measurment comparing distortion at 4/8 ohms load in single configuration vs bridge 8 ohms load? Greetings for you an your snickers mate...

At the same load impedance, bridged configuration draws twice the current, therefore there will be more distortion. If the amplifier had, say .03% distortion single ended, then it could be around .06% bridged which is still low.

Olá amigo! saudações do Brasil! você poderia me ajudar.? tenho eles. mas satura quando esta em volume alto. sem ser na distorção Grande.e com gerador tons, não acontece nada,mas na musica normal sim, verifiquei aquele resistor de acordo a com folha de dados 2.2R e um capacitor de .47uF. retirei eles deminuiu, mas continua. tem alguma solução? muito obrigado!!!
