I don't suffer from the "momma bear" syndrome, but more, certain notes make me worry I have no idea what I'm doing. I think I have a decent story telling ability... but what I tend to overthink most is how I actually write it down (on the page). I can read other scripts written by others and can accept other peoples writing even though styles vary, but then when it comes to my own... I just feel like its all wrong.

You can learn so much from getting notes but you can also just watch a good draft get ruined by truly bad notes. It's a tough road
