Marseille France, amazing festival, venue and organizers. Fete du Vent in Facebook - and here and Cervia Italy (#artevento) are my meccas, along with WSIKF.

Sounds Amy! Not gonna lie, I have zero clue what you are saying in the last half of the comment. Ill have to google. What is a WSIKF?
@JohnBarresi3 жыл бұрын
WSIKF is the longest kite festival in the US, in Long Beach WA about 2.5 hours from my home - kitefestival.com Cervia and Marseille are other festivals.

that was awesome ..how did you do that axel ? l didn't think a rev could do that ... water that a caution there a few videos' l had seen a kite completely submerged in water then up in the air to fly ... must be a camera trick .

I'm seriously thinking about buying one of your $400 kites, however, I have no idea which one to get. I looked at the differences and it seems to be how much wind you are working with, but honestly, I'm not sure. Right now, it would be between the MV and the VT since there is always wind around at the beach at least that's my thought process. On the other hand, it would be nice to just go a few blocks and play with this thing at a park with little to no wind needed...I really can't decide. Which one do you find more enjoyable? I'm sure you've probably used them all so I would be interested to hear your opinion on which vent feels the best. I have 5 kites that I fly right now and plan to get more, but the one I have for higher winds is my 62" parachute kite from In The Breeze Kites, alot of fun and a beast of a kite. This Djinn kite interests me a lot because it just hovers there and can do some amazing tricks that I haven't seen a kite do before. Anywho, that video was REALLY cool.

Hi! I think it's generally agreed that the MV is probably the best "all rounder" with a good middle wind range, and using stiffer spars, will be a bit more durable when flying with abandon. 👍🏻 Flying an ST wherever or whenever you want is awesome too, probably what I fly about 75% of the year just because I live in an urban inland area, but remember that the knowledge and attitude to flying "low wind urban" takes more effort - just make sure you know what you're getting into with that, it won't "fly itself". 😉 All that being said, I don't have a favorite - each model flies very similarly, in the assigned wind ranges, and a bit more smoothness coming in with each level of venting (again - assuming wind speed matches kite choice).
@kukukachu3 жыл бұрын
@@JohnBarresi hmmm so the more venting, the more wind needed, but also all the smoother maneuvering...interesting. Well it sounds to me that it's more fun to fly with more wind. Things to definitely think about. Appreciate the feedback, thank you.

Hello guys, does someone know how to find parts for quad line kite?
@JohnBarresi Жыл бұрын
What kind of quad? Different brands and models use different parts. Also. What part of the world are you shopping in?
@thedevilinthecircuit1414 Жыл бұрын
If you need carbon fiber struts, save money by using bare carbon arrow shafts (archery equipment). Much less expensive than kite struts and the same thing. I've been doing this for more than 35 years.
